Doug is an active artist, sculptor and published children's book illustrator. He loves drawing and sculpting monsters, animals and pretty much anything he can think of not excluding alien space penguins (actually especially alien space penguins).

Recently he has partnered with nonprofit groups in the Philippines, Zimbabwe and Belmont-Redwood Shores School District in California to draw coloring pages for children that promote healthier lifestyles.

As a graphic designer, Doug works as Senior Staff, Creative Solutions for Kaiser Permanente in which he designs and builds websites and print materials, such as posters and programs, for events throughout the country.

He also designs materials, such as schematics and presentation graphics, for institutions such as Stanford University School of Medicine and Global Health Research Foundation.
